SEASON: Our rainy season (mid June through mid-October) is particularly great for Mahi-Mahi! and November through March is good for billfish, but we fish all year-round. FLY FHISING : Basic equipment (Bring your own): Fishing vest, Polarized sunglasses, needle-nose pliers or hemostat, hooks, new line. A 9 and up-weight rod, high density sink-tip line, high speed HD sinking line (or shooting head), high quality fly reel with smooth adjustable drag and capacity for fly line plus 100yds. of 30 lb. test backing, leader material 20-40 lb. tippets small split shot or strip lead. |
FLIES: Stripers and sinking flies, all colors and sizes.
FLY FISHING SPECIES: Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Sailfish, Tuna, Rooster fish, Bonito, Jacks.
DEEP SEA & BOTTOM FISHING:
We provide all the necessary equipment.
TROLLING FISH: Tuna, Mahi-Mahi (Dorado), Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, Rooster Fish
BOTTOM FISH: Snapper, Grouper, Sea Bass, Trigger Fish.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Please note that spray from the ocean is inevitable on board, so bring a windbreaker.
- Also, wear a hat and swimsuit, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
- This tour is usually breathtaking! Don't forget your camera and extra film, and a waterproof bag to protect your equipment!
- This tour is generally not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
TOURS HOURS AND DEPARTURE LOCATIONS
Tours depart form Opequimar pier (accross the street from the westin Regina) at 7am (so you need to be there 10 minutes to 7), prior reservation. We do 8-10 hour fly fishing tours 8 hours deep sea fishing/ bottom fishing 4 hours deep sea fishing/bottom fishing.
RATES:
4 hour fishing or fly fishing within our bay ...... $250 up to 4 passengers
6 hour fishing or fly fishing within our bay ...... $300 up to 4 passengers
8 hour fishing or fly fishing outside the bay ...... $400 up to 4 passengers
10 hour fishing or fly fishing La Corbeteña ...... $500 up to 4 passengers
Payments in cash only.
For payments in Mexican currency, the current exchange rate is: 1 USD = 11.00 Pesos (may fluctuate).

Manuel and his brother were as nice as good be and even put us into a Marina that was a little out of their way so we could be closer to the hotel. They were awesome and patient with us and I will absolutely be recommending your service to anyone who goes down your direction. We are considering a return maybe during whale season and from what I understand, you are El Jefe on the whale tours in the bay, so we will be giving you a call.
