Bird Watching TourBIRD WATCHING IN SAN BLAS

In 1768 San Blas was founded as a military base and as a shipyard, it was a strategic point to defend the Californias against the British from Canada and the Russians from Alaska.

Today, San Blas is located approximately 3hours north west of Puerto Vallarta and it has become a famous destination for bird watchers from all over the world .

La Tovara by night is a fresh water estuary, a spectacular place, where you can still find the Bare-throated Tiger Heron, Boat billed Heron, Mangrove Vireo and Snail kite to name a few while you navigate through channels of mangrove forest.

This is a private tour. It includes the boat ride on La Tovara by night. And since we will have to spend the night there we will go birding in the morning and come back to Puerto Vallarta at early afternoon.
